on the NFCP Path in La Virgen

Nothing can describe our concept and work better than a personal visit to our projects. To make this easier, we created a forest experience and education trail, the NFCP path, on our Finca La Virgen more than a year ago. The path leads through our sustainably managed afforestation as well as the protected natural forest and thus provides comprehensive insights into our projects. Along the trail, information boards explain the importance of the forest and provide information about our BaumInvest reforestations. The path ends in a primeval forest corridor with a beautiful waterfall and the trees of our tree sponsors.

Upon request, our German team on site in Costa Rica will undertake a guided tour of the NFCP path. This offer is used more and more often – especially by our shareholders.

Just recently, our Costa Rican NFCP path was visited by a shareholder family who wanted to get a first-hand impression of our forests. As a retired forester, the grandfather of the family was very interested in the silvicultural measures as well as the growth of our forests. He was particularly impressed by our near-natural forestry concept.

But the real reason for his visit was different. Some time ago, he gave his grandson a tree sponsorship to leave him a souvenir that would grow with him. The grandfather wanted to visit this sponsor tree together with his family and show it to his grandson on site.
